New Barcelona star Miralem Pjanic will have to wait to join up with his new teammates after testing positive for coronavirus.The Bosnian midfielder has already sealed a switch to the Camp Nou in a deal which could be worth up to £59million.
The transfer was part of a double deal which sees Arthur leave Barca and head to Turin for an initial £66m fee, with both considered separate moves.But while Arthur can now join Juventus following the conclusion of their 2019/20 season, Pjanic can’t move to Catalonia just yet.The 30-year-old must now self-isolate for 15 days after suffering discomfort and testing positive for coronavirus.“Miralem Pjanic tested positive for PCR on Saturday, August 22 after suffering some discomfort.
